Rancho Cama Sausage Log
- 1 pound Owen's hot sausage
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cans Pillsbury Crescent Roll dough
- Poppy seeds for sprinkling
Scramble and drain sausage; mix with cream cheese. Unroll two cans dough, leaving in rectangles (pinch seams together). Place 1/4 of sausage mixture down center lengthwise; roll into log.
Place seam-side down on foil over cookie sheet. Brush with slightly beaten egg. Sprinkle poppy seeds lightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Set for 10 minutes. Serve slices with cantaloupe or fruit salad.
