Ingredients

  • GLAZE:
  • 2-lbs. chicken breasts, skinned & boned
  • 1/2-cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2-tsp. salt
  • 1/8-tsp. pepper
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • oil for frying
  • 1/3 - cup soy sauce
  • 1/3-cup honey
  • 1-tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1-TBS. dry sherry
  • 1-clove garlic, minced

Preparation

Step 1

Cut chicken into 2" chunks. Combine flour, salt & pepper.
Dip chicken in eggs, then in flour.
Pour 1/2" oil in skillet, when hot ,add chicken & cook until golden.
Meanwhile, heat glaze ingredients in small pan.
Drain chicken.
Dip in honey mixture, place on a broiling rack.
Bake at 250 degrees.
Brush with glaze after 10- minutes.
