Perfect pie crust
- 3 Cups all purpose Flour. (unbleached)
- 1 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 8 Tablespoons butter
- 8 Tablespoons shortening
- 10 to 12 Tablespoons ice cold 7-up
Blend flour with the salt, butter and shortening. Add soft drink 1 tblsp at a time. Gently mix with a fork until soft dough forms. Gather dough into 2 discs and put into plastic wrap. Chill for 8 hrs or overnight.
