Baked Goat Cheese in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 4 oz. goat cheese
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. coarsely chopped fresh basil

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400ºF.

Mix cream cheese, goat cheese and rosemary until blended. Press into 3-inch round between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Heat oil in small saucepan on medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 30 sec. Stir in tomato sauce; bring just to boil, stirring frequently. Simmer on low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally. Pour into shallow baking dish; place cheese round in center of sauce.

Bake 15 min. or until cheese is heated through. Sprinkle with basil.
