Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1-6 ounce package chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt chips and butter over low heat, stirring occasionally. Gradually add sugar and milk, belnding well. Bring to a boil and cook about 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. Serve warm.

Frosting:
Add approximately 1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar, blending well. Chill until thick enough to spread. Makes enough frosting to frost 2-8 inch cake layers.
