Luscious Key Lime Cake

  • 1 package Duncan Hines Deluxe Lemon Supreme Cake
  • 1 package lemon instant pudding&pie filling(4serv)
  • 4 each eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup bottled lime juice
  • Glaze frosting
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1/3 cup bottled lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • additional sugar
  • lime slices

Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 350. Grease and flour a bundt pan.

FOR cake, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, 3/4 cup water and 1/4 cup lime juice in large bowl. Beat at low speed with mixer until moistened. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 25 minutes. Invert onto cooling rack and return cake to pan. Poke holes in top of warm cake with toothpick or long tined fork.

FOR glaze, combine 2 cups confectioners sugar, 1/3 cup lime juice, 2 tablespoons water and melted butter in medium bowl. Pour slowly over top of warm cake. Cool completely. Invert onto serving plate. Dust with additional sugar and garnish with lime slices.
