- 1 lb Italian sausage links (4 to 5 links), each cut into fourths
- 8 medium fresh mushrooms
- 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 8 pieces
- 1 (8-oz) can pizza sauce

GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. Alternately thread 4 or 5 sausage pieces, 2 mushrooms and 2 bell pepper pieces onto each of four 12-inch metal skewers; brush with pizza sauce.
When ready to grill, place kabobs on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium-high coals. Cook 12 to 18 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink, turning once and brushing with pizza sauce. Heat any remaining pizza sauce to a boil; serve with kabobs.
BROILER DIRECTIONS: Prepare kabobs as directed above. Place kabobs on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 12 to 18 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink, turning once and brushing with pizza sauce. Heat any remaining pizza sauce to a boil; serve with kabobs.
