Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups of flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix shortening and sugar, add eggs, beating well after each addition. Add rest of ingredients. Chill in refrigerator. Shape dough into balls then roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 10 minutes at 375.
