Ingredients
- 2 yellow or white cake mixes
- 3 medium bananas
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 pints fresh strawberries
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups blueberries

Heat oven to 350. Use two jelly roll pans; line with parchment paper and grease paper. Prepare cake better according to directions on box. Spread batter in pans. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Peel off paper and allow cakes to cool.
Meanwhile, slice the bananas and toss with lemon juice. Pour off excess juice and set bananas aside.
Slice about 24 strawberries in half and set aside. Coarsely chop the remaining strawberries.
In a large bowl, beat the three cups of cream until soft peaks form; gradually beat in sugar until cream is stiff. Spoon half of the cream into a second bowl and fold in the coarsely chopped strawberries.
Place down one cake layer. Spread with strawberry cream. Top with second cake. Spread with plain cream. Using the sliced bananas, strawberries and blueberries, decorate the top of the cake to look like a flag. Chill up to two hours before serving.
