Ingredients
- 2 Triangles or 1 Small Round Brie, rind peeled off of side
- 1 Package of Frozen Filo Dough
- 1 Can Whole Cranberry Sauce or 1 Jar Apricot Jam
- Walnuts or Pecans, coarsely chopped & optional
Preparation
Step 1
Thaw 3-4 sheets of the filo dough.
Line the bottom of a shallow baking dish (which will also be used to serve the brie. For example, a pretty pie plate) with the thawed sheets of filo dough.
Place in the middle of the filo dough the 2 triangles next to each other with tips at opposite ends or the 1 small round brie.
Pour whole cranberry sauce or apricot jam over the brie and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
Fold outside edges of dough over the top or put extra sheets of dough over top to cover and surround contents.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until dough begins to brown. Cheese will be melted.
Serve warm with thin slices of baguette or crackers.
**This recipe is also delicious without the filo dough.
