Ingredients
- 1/2 c butter
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 3 c white sugar
- 1 14-oz can evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a double boiler. Add chocolate and let melt. Add sugar very gradually, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved after each addition before adding any more. Add salt, then slowly the milk a little at a time. Serve hot or cold.
