Compay Rice

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheese
  • cup uncooked rice
  • 2 10 1/2 oz. An beef consommé
  • 1 cup sliced almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Melt margarine/butter in skillet. Add onion and sauté until tender but not browned.

Combine onion, cheese, rice, almonds, and beef consommé in greased 4 quart casserole.

Mix well, cover, bake @ 325 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and bake 15 minutes longer
