Ingredients

    slices bacon - (abt 1/2 lb) crisply fried, and crumbled

  • 1

    cup shredded Swiss cheese - (abt 4 oz)

  • 2

    cups milk

  • 4

    eggs

  • 1/8

    teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper

  • 1/3

    cup chopped onion

  • 1

    cup Bisquick baking mix

  • 1/4

    teaspoon salt

Directions

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease 10-inch pie plate. Sprinkle bacon, cheese, and onion in pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high speed, or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into pie plate; bake until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Garnish with bacon curls and parsley sprigs, if desired. This recipe yields 6 servings.
