Scalloped potatoes and ham

This dish is a crowd-pleaser with its creamy sauce, chunks of ham and potato slices. I always enjoyed it when Mother made it

Ingredients
- 6 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 6 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 1/2 cups fully cooked ham
- flour
- pepper
- 1 cup milk

Preparation
Step 1
Peel potatoes, wash and dry.
Slice potatoes thin.
Melt butter in bottom of casserole dish. Put layer of sliced potatoes sprinkled sparingly with pepper then sprinkle with flour to cover potatoes. Put butter on top of flour in 4-5 small slices. Put ham pieces on top of butter. Start over again with potato sloces and continuing layering process. When finished pour 1 cup of milk over casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for at least 1 hour or until potatoes are tender when tested with fork.
