Bun Candy

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces butterscotch chips
  • 18 ounces creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 package vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
  • 2 pounds powdered sugar
  • 1 pound dry roasted peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips. Add the peanut butter and stir until combined. Spread 1/2 of mixture into a greased 10 x 15 inch pan. Chill until firm.

In a large saucepan, heat butter, milk, and pudding mix. Cook for 1 minute, then add powdered sugar and stir well. Spread over cooled chocolate mixture. Chill until firm.

Add peanuts to remaining half of chocolate mixture. Spread over chilled pudding layer. Chill until firm. Cut into squares.
