Ingredients

    small apples or 1 large apple

    tsp butter

  • 1/4

    cup unsweetened apple juice or cider

    tsp brown sugar

  • 1/3

    tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2/3

    cup fat free sugar free vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.

    tbs, chopped walnuts, toasted

Directions

1. Cut apples into quarters; remove cores and cut into 1/2 in thick slices. 2. Melt butter in lrg non-stick skillet over med heat. Add apples; cook 4 min. stirring occasionally. 3. Combine apple juice, brown sugar substitute and cinnamon; pour over apples. Simmer 5 min or until apples are tender and sauce thickens. Transfer to serving bowls, serve with ice cream, if desired, and sprinkle with walnuts.
