Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 1/2 tsp mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 large carrot
- 1/2 Spanish or white onion
- 1 or 2 green peppers all shredded
Preparation
Step 1
In saucepan bring the dressing ingredients to a boil. Make sure the sugar has dissolved. Cool. Chop/shred cabbage, carrot, onion & peppers.
Pour cooled dressing over and mix well. Store in covered glass jars 12 hours before using.
