Raw Chard Wraps with Walnut Pate

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soaked walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon nama shoyu or soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 1 tablespoon minced onions
  • Avocado
  • Tomato
  • Red onion
  • Cucumber

Preparation

Step 1

Process first 8 ingredients in a food processor until consistancy of a paste.
Spread pate generously over a chard leaf.
Add slices of avocado, tomato, red onion and cucumber.
Roll and enjoy.
Serve with raw sauerdraut and cherry tomatoes, if desired.
