Ingredients

  • 2

    pounds smoked ham ground

  • 1

    pound fresh ground pork

  • 1

    cup milk

  • 2

    eggs beaten

  • 1/4

    cup cracker crumbs

  • 1

    pinch sage

  • Garlic cloves to taste

Directions

Mix all ingredients except garlic and place in greased loaf pan. Slice garlic and place on top of shaped loaf. Place loaf pan in another pan half-filled with water. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees Let cool in pan and refrigerate. Slice when cold but serve warmed or browned slightly in skillet. This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
