Cherry-pineapple Dump Cake

This cherry pineapple dump cake is fantastic, and adds a tropical spin to the usual desserts you're used to. We recommend serving this recipe with some whipped cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Unsweetened Crushed Pineapple
  • 1 can Light Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 pkg White Cake Mix
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Canola Oil
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Pecans, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour pineapple evenly into a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking pan so it covers the bottom of the pan. Next pour in the cherry pie filling covering the pineapple. In a small bowl combine cake mix, water and oil until smooth. Pour over cherry filling. Sprinkle pecans on top. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until cake is golden.
