Oven French Toast

  • 1/2 C. butter
  • 1/2 C. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 12 slices raisin bread
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 C. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in 9x13-inch pan in hot oven. Add brown sugar & cinnamon; mix well. Arrange bread slices in double layer in pan. Beat eggs with milk and pour over bread slices. Chill, tightly covered, in refrigerator overnight. Bake, uncovered for 45 minutes. Serve with sprinkle of confectioner’s sugar and syrup.
