Ingredients
- 1 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and cook until mixture thickens and reduces by about one quarter. Approx. 10 minutes.
Serve warm or cold. Keeps for a couple of weeks in the fridge.
