Penne Pasta with artichokes and spinach

Ingredients
- Penne pasta (cook as directed)
- 1 can artichokes in water, drained, cut into pieces
- 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 to 1.5 c. half and half
- 1/2 c. parmegianno reggiano
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 pat butter

Preparation
Step 1
Cook pasta; saute butter, olive oil and garlic. Add chicken broth. Add half and half and parmesano-reggiano. Bring to boil and whisk then turn down to simmer. Add spinach and artichokes and cooked pasta. Stir to combine then set aside to allow sauce to thicken.
