Ingredients
- cup of golden raisins
- 2 cups of currants
- 1 cup of raisin
- 1 cup of candied peel
- 1/2 cup of chopped almonds
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of figs
- 1/2 tablespoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 lb. Chopped suet
- 2 lemons peel
- juice of two lemons
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/3 cup of rum
Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix all ingredients into grinder.
2. Pour in liqueurs and grind until well absorbed.
3. Cover and set aside in a cool place for 3 weeks.
4. Can also be sealed with paraffin.
