Ingredients

  • cup of golden raisins
  • 2 cups of currants
  • 1 cup of raisin
  • 1 cup of candied peel
  • 1/2 cup of chopped almonds
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of figs
  • 1/2 tablespoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 lb. Chopped suet
  • 2 lemons peel
  • juice of two lemons
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/3 cup of rum

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix all ingredients into grinder.
2. Pour in liqueurs and grind until well absorbed.
3. Cover and set aside in a cool place for 3 weeks.
4. Can also be sealed with paraffin.
