Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Crisco
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs frothy
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 cups flour (sifted 3 times)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream Crisco with sugar.
2. Add sifted flour (with salt and baking powder), alternating with milk and eggs.
3. Leave on counter covered for the dough to lift.
4. Roll delicately on floured surface.
5. Fry in hot oil (Crisco oil)
