Ingredients

  • Loaf of artisan sourdough bread
  • Eggs
  • milk
  • cinnamon
  • butter
  • brown sugar
  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • blueberries

Preparation

Step 1

Plan on two slices of french toast for each person, and about 1 egg for each two people (4 slices of french toast).

Beat the eggs with a whisk or fork with a little bit of milk. Add about a teaspoon of cinnamon for each serving.

Melt about 2 tablespoons of butter on a griddle pan.

Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture. I don't soak my bread, because I don't like soggy french toast. I lightly dip each side of the sliced bread in the mixture.

Fry the bread in the butter until nicely browned. Again, I like my french toast well cooked, so leave it until it is browned.

Serve with butter, brown sugar and sliced strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.

Yum!
