Ingredients
- 11/2 # beef tenderloin
- 11/2 C. beef broth
- 1 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 3 T. all-purpose flour
- 2 T. butter
- 2 T. ketchup
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 C.)
- 1 C. sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
Cut beef into strips. Cook beef in margarine in skillet over low heat, stirring occasionally until brown. Drain. Reserve 1/3 C. broth. Stir remaining broth, ketchup, salt, and garlic into skillet. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 min. or until beef is tender. Stir in mushrooms and onion. Cover and simmer 5 min, or until onion is tender. Shake reserved broth and flour in tightly covered container; gradually stir into beef mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute; reduce heat. Stir in sour cream; heat until hot. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
