Ingredients
- 3/4 C peppermint-stick candy crushed
- 1 cups milk chilled
- 2 cup heavy cream chilled
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 C granulated sugar
Preparation
Step 1
in med bowl, use hand mixer or whisk to combine milk and sugar until sugar is desolved - about 1-2 min on low speed.
stir in heavy cream, vanilla and peppermint extract.
turn on ice cream machine, pour mixture into freezer bowl and allow to thicken, about 25-30 min.
add crushed candy last 5 min of mixing
put freezer bowl in freezer for 1 hrs before serving
