- 1 cup sugar
- 6 T butter
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk, buttermilk, non-fat plain yogurt or vanilla yogurt, eggnog
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 t butter extract
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1 1/4 cup flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together butter and sugar
Whisk in the egg.
Whisk in the milk.
Whisk in the vanilla and butter extracts.
Stir in the salt, baking powder, and then flour.
Beat for 3 minutes.
Pour batter evenly into 12 paper lined cupcake pans.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and skewer comes out clean.
