Sweet and Spicy Barbecued Brisket

Ingredients
- 5 pounds trimmed beef brisket
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 cups chunky pace salsa
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
- sandwich rolls or hambuger buns
- cumin

Preparation
Step 1
1. Season brisket with cumin. Cook in non stick skillet until browned. Add 1 cup salsa and heat to a boil. Cover brisket with salt, pepper and garlic powder and
place in a 3 qt shallow baking dish.
2. Mix salsa, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce and spread over brisket. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
3. Bake covered at 300 for 4 1/2 hours or until tender. Slice or shred and serve with juices on rolls.
