Ingredients

  • 5

    pounds trimmed beef brisket

  • salt and pepper

  • 1

    tablespoon garlic powder

  • 2

    cups chunky pace salsa

  • 1/2

    cup brown sugar

  • 1/2

    cup worcestershire sauce

  • sandwich rolls or hambuger buns

  • cumin

Directions

1. Season brisket with cumin. Cook in non stick skillet until browned. Add 1 cup salsa and heat to a boil. Cover brisket with salt, pepper and garlic powder and place in a 3 qt shallow baking dish. 2. Mix salsa, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce and spread over brisket. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 3. Bake covered at 300 for 4 1/2 hours or until tender. Slice or shred and serve with juices on rolls.
