Bulgogi

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs beef (sirloin, top round, or chuck)
  • 6 T soy sauce
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 T sesame oil
  • 1 T crushed toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic minced or pressed
  • 1 thinly sliced green onion (including top)

Preparation

Step 1

Cut beef across the grain into long thin slices about 1/8 inch thick
Combine beef strips with soy-sesame marinade and mix thoroughly. Let sit 1 to 1 1/2 hours (or overnight)
Cook beef quickly over BBQ or under broiler
