Crepe Chips or Crepe Noodles

Ingredients

  • Make Basic Crepe batter and cook.

Step 1

With a sharp knife, cut each crepe into 8 wedges to make chips or cut into 1/4” strips to make noodles.

In heavy medium saucepan or skillet at least 3” deep, heat 1” cooking oil to 375 degrees. Place a layer of chips or noodles in a deep fat basket; dip into hot fat. Fry until crisp, 1 to 1 ½ minutes, stirring once. Drain well.
