Grilled Hummus Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Hummus, 2 Tbsp Basil, 1/4 cup, fresh, chopped Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 large slice Provolone Cheese, 1 slice *Sara Lee Delightful Whole Wheat Bread, 2 slices Lite Margarine, 1Tbsp

Step 1

Slice a large tomato into thick slices. Chop the basil and you are ready to assemble your sandwich. Butter two slices of bread and turn one face down in a non-stick skillet. Spread the hummus over the bread, then layer chopped basil, tomato, and cheese over it. Add the second slice of bread, buttered side up. Grill over medium heat, turning when the toast starts to brown.
