Emma's garlicky cheese fondue mondified

Serve in the round chafing dish with mushrooms, broccoli, french bread.

Ingredients
- 8 oz. monterey jack, coarsly grated
- 8 oz. muenster, coarsely grated
- 2 tbspns cornstarch
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 3/4 cups apple cider
- 2 tspns minced garlic
- 1 tbspn kirsch-cherry brandy
- 1/2 tspn salt
- 1/4 tspn pepper
- 1/4 tspn nutmeg
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl or large ziploc bag, combine the cheeses and toss with the cornstarch to coat. Set aside until ready to use. In a saucepan, bring the wine,cider, and garlic to a simmer over med=low heat. Add the cheese a bit at a time stirring well to prevent from clumping and cook until melted. Add the kirsch, salt, pepper, and nutmeg, stir well and cook stirring until the mixture is smooth, 3-5 mins. Serve with broccoli, cauliflower, apple , mushrooms, or french bread.
