Ingredients

  • 2 medium turnips, boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs

Step 1

Directions:

Mix first seven ingredients and place in casserole dish. Saute bread crumbs in the butter and spread on top. Bake at 350F for 1/2 hour.
