Apricot Sausage Compote

  • 1/2 pound sausage meat (turkey can be used)
  • 1 can apricot halves
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar


Servings 4


Step 1

Fry sausage until well done. (If using turkey, brown lightly and then add a little water and simmer for about 15 minutes.) Add apricots along with the juice they are canned with. Add the sugar. Heat.

Serve over "Finnish Pancakes" (see recipe).

This recipe yields 4 servings.
