- 1 lb lean stewing meat, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1/2 C onions, chopped
- 1/2 C cut green beans, fresh or frozen
- 1/2 C corn, fresh or frozen
- 4 C fat free, low sodium beef broth
- 2 14.5 oz cans low-sodium stewed tomatoes
- 2/3 C pearl barley, uncooked
- 12 oz low sodium V8
- 1 C water
