  • Flan:
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt 1 1/2 cups sugar in a pan med heat. stirring until it dissolves completely and has a brown color.
Pour immediately into pyrex dish to cover the bottom.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

3. Warm 3 cups of milk with the sweetened condensed milk, stirring occasionally. Don't let boil

4. Add vanilla

5. Beat the eggs slightly with the rest of the milk, add to the warm milk, stir.

6. Pour into a pyrex dish lined with caramel

7. Bake for 1 hour or until brown on top
Cool; refrigerate.
