Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 # round steak cut in 1" cubes
  • pam
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 c red wine
  • 1 can cr of mushroom soup
  • 1 can beef consomme (not broth)
  • 1 envelope onion recipe soup mix
  • 6 c sliced mushrooms
  • 1 16 oz can pearl onions
  • 3 T flour
  • 1/2 c water
  • 2-12oz pkgs egg noodles (or fettucine if preferred)
  • 1/4 canned parm cheese
  • 3/4 c sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat in oven proof dutch oven with pam. Drain and set aside. Pam dutch oven-add garlic-saute 1 minute-add wine, both soups, and dried onion soup-bring to boil and add mushrooms and onions.Mix flour with water-add to the pot-Put meat back in. Cover and bake 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
Cook noodles-add cheese and sour cream to them.
