Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1/2 c peanut butter
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 t milk
- 1 t vanilla
- 9 oz pack Hershey kisses
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, soda and salt in a bowl, set aside. In a large bowl cream together shortening and peanut butter. Gradually add ½ c sugar and ½ c brown sugar and stir until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla and beat well. Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, blend thoroughly. Shape into 1” balls and roll in white sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet at least 1” apart. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Remove and press a kiss in center. Bake for 2-3 more minutes.
