Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1 c buttermilk
- 1 c shortening
- 1 t baking soda
- 3 eggs
- 1 t vanilla or lemon
- 4 c flour
Preparation
Step 1
Mix and drop teaspoonful of cookie dough onto a slightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 11-12 minutes, until just before they get brown on top or edges.
While warm, top with a couple raisins. Or, when cool, spread icing on top and sprinkle with jimmies.
