Ingredients
- one stick of butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2-3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1 cup of granulated white sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- a couple of ounces of bittersweet or semisweet chocolate chips/pieces
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter over medium heat. Add milk, cocoa powder and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring continuously.
Remove from heat, add peanut butter, vanilla, salt and chocolate pieces. Stir well. Stir in oatmeal.
Spoon onto parchment lined baking sheet. Cool in refrigerator for 30 minutes
