Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 1/2 - 1 lb. Flank Steak
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 t. sugar
  • 1/4 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. cornstarch
  • 1 T water
  • 2 t. soy sauce
  • dash pepper
  • 1 t. sesame oil
  • Vegetable:
  • Broccoli florets
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 T. cooking oil
  • Sauce:
  • 1/2 t. sugar
  • 1 t soy sauce
  • 1 T. oyster sauce
  • 2 t. cornstarch dissolved in 2T water
  • 1 t. rice wine
  • 2 t. sesame oil
  • dash pepper
  • 1/2 c water

Preparation

Step 1

Marinade Beef in marinade mixture for 20 minutes.
Steam broccoli (not all way)
Combine the sauce ingredients in separate bowl and set aside.

When ready to cook: heat wok on high setting. Spray wok with Pam and add meat with marinade mixture. Saute until not pink. Add cooked broccoli. Pour sauce on top stir 1 minute more until thickens and done.

Serve on top of Jasmine Rice.
