Ingredients
- butter cream icing:
- 6 eggs
- 3/4 cup fine sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup of flour
- 5 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1/2 lb soft butter
- 3 yellows eggs
- 1/3 cup of fine sugar
- 1/4 cup of tia maria
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Pour eggs in a bowl along with the sugar and vanilla.
3. Place in a double boiler and beat with mixer for 7-8 minutes.
4. Sift flour in the egg mixture and incorporate with a spatula and add melted butter.
5. Pour in a 10 mold and bake from 25-30 minutes.
6. Cool 5 minutes and unmold.
7. When cold, cut in 3 slices and ice.
8. To make the icing, boil sugar with tia maria for 2 minutes at medium heat.
9. Mix yellow with a mixer and add boiling sugar and keep beating.
10. Add butter in small quantities.
