Sweet Corn Bread

Delicious and moist cornbread, perfect for that southern chicken and green bean meal!

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup cornmeal
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 egg
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1/4 cup butter, softened

Preparation

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients in bowl and mix. In another bowl mix together egg, sour cream, milk, and butter. Stir moist ingredients into dry mix, just until blended. Pour into greased 8" square baking pan.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
