Cake Mix Snickerdoodles

Soft cinnamon cookies that start with a cake mix! A yummy shortcut to a classic. These are full of cinnamon and crazy easy to make.

Ingredients

• 1 box, white cake mix
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or slip mats.

In a mixing bowl, beat dry cake mix, egg and melted butter until fully combined.

In a small bowl, mix together ground cinnamon and sugar.

Scoop batter and shape into 1 inch size balls. Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture and place on cookie sheet.

Repeat with remaining dough.

Bake for 10-12 or until edges are light brown.

Let cookies sit on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing. Then, cool completely on a wire rack.

Yield: approx 36-40 cookies
