Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 cups matzo meal
- 4 eggs
Preparation
Step 1
1. Put water-oil in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add matzo meal all at once, stirring vigorously. Remove from heat and let cool 5 minutes.
2. Fold eggs into the dough one after the other, stirring after each addition until eggs are thoroughly blended. Allow dough to cool 1 hour.
3. Form long rolls of dough with moist hands and pinch ends together into rings. Arrange on a greased baking sheet and bake at 325 for 30 minutes or until golden.
