Pasta with garlic-butter

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pasta
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5 Tbs unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 cup chopped flat parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated parmagiano-reggiano cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add garlic and crushed red pepper. Saute until golden, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add salt, pepper, pasta water and butter.
4. Stir 2 minutes, remove from heat.
5. Toss pasta with sauce, parsley, and cheese.
