Toll House Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 large eggs
• 2 cups chocolate chips
• 1 cup chopped nuts (Optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In large bowl, cream sugars with butter, add vanilla and eggs, one at a time. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by tablespoonfuls on baking sheets and cook for 9 minutes or until lightly brown.
